About Rowan Lodge
Rowan Lodge is a well appointed 2 storey Norwegian timber built lodge, that offers warm comfortably furnished accomodation . Finished in soft furnishings of the calming colours of lemon and cream giving the ambience of tranquility. It provides a rural, even remote, setting with magnificant views of Loch Lochy and the mountains beyond and yet the main road is only 3 miles away.
The Ground floor consisits of an open plan living and dining area with a veranda off. To the rear is a family bathroom with a power shower over bath and a well equipped fully fitted kitchen with a door way leading to the down stairs double bedroom. The firsts floor comprises of a double bedroom and an open plan twin bedroom leading to the upstairs balcony.
Rowan lodge is all electric with fridge/freezer, microwave, Satalite television, DVD/CD radio and electric heaters. Beds are made up for guests arriving and one bath towel and one hand towel is supplied for each guest. Extra towels can be hired at an cost. Cot with cot bedding and a highchair are available on request at no extra charge. Electric power is paid for by meter readings taken at the start and end of your holiday period.
The decked veranda provides an ideal area for out door living and is equipped with out door seating and BBQ. The veranda is also a favourite visiting site for our resident Pine Martens. Adult and baby Pine Martens have been spotted on a daily basis. Sometimes as early as 9:10 am and 3:50pm, but are most active from 6:30 pm. We are very dog and pet friendly so your pet is welcome to come along on hoiday with you, a small fee of £15:00 per week for each dog is charged. All we ask is that he/she is kept on a lead whilst on site and in the vacinity of the farm and must never be left unattended in the lodge
There is ample parking close to the lodge.
Laundry facilities are available on site, consisting of a Commercial sized coin operated Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer.
Groceries can be ordered for delivery to your lodge from www.sevenheadsstore.co.uk . Please order at least 5 days prior to your arrival informing the shop of the name of your lodge and that you are staying at The Great Glen Lodges, Kilfinnan.
