For my father in laws' 70th birthday, the family gave him the gift of a week at Heather Lodge. They haven't stopped talking about it since they arrived home and have said it was the BEST holiday that they have EVER had, the only downside of this was that it was only one week and they wished it had been a fortnight! Ian and Claire couldn't do enough for them and made their stay even more special. Thankyou to you both, superb hosts. A HIGHLY recommended location and holiday. They constantly watch the slideshows I have set up on their PC!!!! |

Definately a hidden gem - superb location, excellent hosts and has much peace and tranquility as you could ask for. Special thanks to Iain for allowing Thomas,(age 11) to steer the boat and for arranging that trout to take the bait - Tom still talks about it. Highlights were climbing Ben Nevis,( Tom's first Munro) and the sands at Morar. Will be back next year,(probably for two weeks) |
