There are many angling services available here at the Great Glen Lodges, these can be personalised to meet the individual needs and requirments of each person or group.

Loch Lochy has an excellent reputation as a good place to fish with some very good catches of Brown Trout and Pike. Other species caught are Salmon, Ferox Trout, Rainbow Trout and Eels. Trout to 22lbs ( see picture) and Pike to 39lbs have been caught within close vacinity of the lodges.

Ferox Trout. Ian specialises in hunting ferox trout which grow to very large sizes in Loch Lochy, (22lbs in Sep 2006). Which was returned unharmed.
