Bracken Lodge is a well appointed 2 storey Norwegian timber built lodge, that offers warm comfortably furnished accomodation . Finished with soft furnishings in the calming colours of lemon and cream, giving an ambience of tranquility. It provides a rural, even remote, setting with magnificant views of Loch Lochy and the mountains beyond and yet the main road is only 3 miles away.
The Ground floor consisits of an open plan living and dining area with a veranda off. To the rear is a family bathroom, with power shower over bath and a well equipped fully fitted kitchen with a door way leading to the down stairs double bedroom. The firsts floor comprises of a double bedroom and an open plan twin bedroom leading to the upstairs balcony.
Bracken lodge is all electric with fridge/freezer, microwave, television, DVD/CD radio and electric heaters. Beds are made up for guests arriving and towels are provided. Cot and highchair available on request at no extra charge.
The decked veranda provides an ideal area for out door living and is equipped with out door seating and BBQ. The veranda is also a favourite visiting site for our resident Pine Martens. The adult and baby Pine Martens have been spotted on a daily basis. Sometimes as early as 9:10 am and 3:50 pm but are most active from 6:30 pm.
There is ample parking close to the lodge.
There are on site Laundry Facilities comprising of commercial sized coin operated Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer.
